Rooted in Faith, Growing in Character

It is our hope and prayer that this letter finds you well. As we prepared to write this letter to you we reflected on our own experience as students. One word that kept coming up in our conversations was the word challenge. We all face challenges in our lives every day and the school is no different.

As students, all young people are challenged by their parents and educators to be good students. The students here at Saint Bridget School are also challenged to become good disciples of the Lord. One of the keys to becoming good disciples is to be people of good character. We at Saint Bridget School strive to assist our parents to instill in our students the qualities of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring for others, and good citizenship.  Together we shape and form the disciples of tomorrow!

Saint Bridget School has faced and continues to face challenges of an aging infrastructure in parts of our campus, keeping up with technology that seems to change by the second, and above all, guiding students to be brighter and well-rounded Christians in an everyday changing world. Through the years we as a school family, with the support of our parish family, have heard God’s call and risen to the many challenges that we have faced. This is recently evidenced by the support of so many in our parish and community as we upgrade the heating system in our upper wing, gym, and parish center.

Today we write to you to invite you to take part in the challenge to continue superior and valued Catholic  education here in Cheshire. We challenge our Alumni to give in honor of the wonderful education they have received, we challenge our parents to give so that Saint Bridget School can continue to provide a superior Catholic education, and we challenge our parishioners and community leaders to give to support the mission of our parish school! Additionally, we challenge everyone to pray daily for Catholic education here in Cheshire, in our Archdiocese, and throughout the world.

Your support through our campaign entitled Rooted in Faith, Growing in Character will benefit our students by ensuring that we continue to enhance the curriculum through updated technology and enrichment, as well as maintain a secure state-of-the-art campus facility. We invite you to prayerfully consider making a donation. There are many ways you can donate to our mission. You may want to make a personal donation, or consider making a donation in memory or in honor of a loved one. Only you can decide how much to give. Charitable giving is a personal decision.

We ask that all members of the community help us meet the challenge of meeting our mission and shaping the disciples of the future. Challenges continually push us to better ourselves. Challenges ask us to reach for the stars and hopefully achieve our dreams. We have some big dreams for the future of Saint Bridget School and they begin with asking for your help. We ask you to look into your hearts and accept the challenge to give to Saint Bridget School’s campaign Rooted in Faith, Growing in Character. We have accepted the challenge, will you?
