No homework! Teacher observations! Administrative Meetings! Your child(ren) will be able to take on these responsibilities and more as Principal of the Day.  Learn all about the day as principal while making some fun decisions for the school. Students will not be responsible for any work they may miss during this awesome experience.

Do you want to decorate your own apparel? Four (4) friends will get to end school at 2 p.m., and with the help of Mrs. Lupo and Ms. Keough, students will use a Cricut and Heat Press to design their very own t-shirts!  We will finish the afternoon with a walk to Sweet Claude's for an ice cream treat.  Students will be picked up from Sweet Claude's at the end of this awesome experience.

Four (4) lucky students will join Miss Céitinn and Ms. Seidl for a fun interactive escape room in the upper wing at St. Bridget School. In an escape room you look around at the environment, find hidden objects, solve puzzles, open locks, and decode secret messages to solve a mission. In other words, it’s like playing a life size board game without instructions. Not only do you solve puzzles, but you have the added race against the 60 minute countdown clock that seems to go at an amazingly fast pace.

Four (4) lucky students will join Ms. Seidl for a SeaTea Improv comedy show in Hartford. Families are welcome to join! Winners will meet Ms. Seidl at the theater at 15 Asylum Street at 4 p.m. on a Sunday night and enjoy the show.  Improv comedy shows are interactive, with chances for kids and adults alike to shout out suggestions (and maybe even opportunities to volunteer to play some improv games with us on stage!) This comedy show is for everyone -- kids and adults will have a lot to laugh about.

Date will be a Sunday night at 4 p.m. and will be mutually agreed upon; must be completed before the end of the current school year.

Making ice cream is as easy as 1, 2, 3- no fancy ice cream maker needed!  Come join Mrs. Timko and Mrs. Mariano for a fun filled day of ice cream.  Your child and 4 of their friends, grades K-3, will have the opportunity to enjoy homemade ice cream.  We will use simple ingredients and a little muscle to make this tasty summer treat.  After making ice cream, we will have a “make your own sundae extravaganza.”  Each child will be able to build their own sundae just like at their favorite ice cream shop.

Join Mr. Iwaniec and Miss Humel in the gym for 90 minutes of Martial Arts excitement! Winners will engage in a heart-pumping fitness workout with effective self-defense techniques from Kempo and Tae Kwan Do. Between Mr. I. and Miss Morgan, they share almost two decades of Martial Arts experience!

Ten (10) lucky students will join Mr. Pucci for an hour dance class with his wife, dance teacher, and choreographer Ms. Nadine. One afternoon we will stay after school to have dance class in the gym. This will be a fun experience for everyone to see if Mr. Pucci can keep step and dance. Ms. Nadine will be teaching him just as she would any student and it will be fun for everyone to see how it turns out.  

Date to be mutually agreed upon; must be completed on a Thursday before the end of the current school year.

Three (3) children will meet one afternoon with Mrs. Ushchak and Mrs. Slot in Mrs. Slot's room to each paint a locker. Paints will be provided and the students will be able to paint a design of their choosing. Of course, each artist will sign their name to the completed art work. The experience will finish with pizza.
